Bliss Diamonds ("Bliss Diamonds", "we", "us", "our") operates the website blissdiamonds.in (the "Site") and is based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. By using the Site or providing us your information, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Note: This Policy does not create a lawyer-client relationship and is not a substitute for advice from a lawyer licensed in India. We recommend having it reviewed by counsel before publishing, and updating it as the DPDP Rules' phased obligations come into force (through May 2027).

  • Order details (products purchased, customisation requests, engraving details, ring size, etc.)

  • Payment-related information (processed by our payment gateway — see Section 5; we do

    not store full card numbers)

  • Communications with us via WhatsApp, Instagram, email, phone, or our Site (including

    chat, enquiry forms, and customer service requests)

  • Information provided for store visits, appointments, or made-to-order consultations at our

    Rajkot store

  • Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location

  • Pages viewed, time spent, referring URLs, and clickstream data

  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6)

    c) Information from third parties

  • Confirmation and delivery status from our courier/logistics partners

    We do not knowingly collect sensitive financial account details (such as full card numbers or bank credentials); these are handled directly by our payment gateway partner.

    retargeting

  • Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations (e.g., GST invoicing, hallmarking and

    certification records)

    Under the DPDP Act, we process your personal data based on:

    • Your consent — for example, when you sign up for marketing communications, use our contact/enquiry forms, or accept cookies

    • Legitimate/permitted uses — such as fulfilling a purchase you have made, responding to your request, or complying with law

      Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time (see Section 9), and withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

      5. Sharing of Information

      We share personal data only as needed, with:

    • Shopify (our e-commerce platform provider), which hosts the Site and processes order data on our behalf

    • Payment gateway providers (e.g., Razorpay/similar), to process payments securely

    • Courier and logistics partners, to deliver your orders

    • Meta and Google, for advertising, analytics, and retargeting (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads/

      Analytics tags) — this may involve sharing hashed or device-level identifiers, not your name

      or address

    • IGI or other certifying/hallmarking bodies, where required for product certification

    • Professional advisors and regulators, where required by law, audit, or dispute resolution

      We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes without your consent.

      Some of these providers (e.g., Meta, Google, Shopify) may process data on servers located outside India. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure such transfers are consistent with the DPDP Act's requirements on cross-border data transfer.

      6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep your cart and login session active

  • Understand how visitors use the Site (analytics)

  • Show you relevant ads on Meta and Google and measure their performance

    You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where applicable, through a cookie- consent banner on the Site. Disabling cookies may affect some Site features (e.g., cart persistence).

    7. Data Retention

    We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including:

  • Order and transaction records, for the period required under applicable tax, accounting, and consumer protection laws

    When data is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.

  • Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete personal data

  • Erasure — request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations

  • Withdraw consent for any consent-based processing (e.g., marketing communications) at

    any time

  • Grievance redressal — raise a complaint about how we handle your data (see Section 11)

  • Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your

    death or incapacity

    10. Children's Data

    Our products and Site are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 years of age without verifiable parental/guardian consent, and we do not use

children's data for tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising. If you believe a minor has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the DPDP Act, we have designated a Grievance Officer to address your questions or concerns about this Policy or our handling of your personal data.

We will acknowledge and address grievances within the timelines prescribed under applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
